Our History

Founding in April 1973, PT Jembo Cable Company Tbk. start by producing Low Voltage Power Cables - copper conductor. Then continue to add varieties of products, such as the Low Voltage Cables - aluminum conductor, Medium Voltage Cable, Telephone Cable and Fiber Optic Cable as well as expanding its market.

In 1992, the Company listed its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange or now known as Indonesia Stock Exchange and Hold a cooperation agreement in the field of engineering with Fujikura Ltd., one of Japan's leading cable companies.

Quality is the main concern, it is tightly integrated in the daily performance of the Company. Substantial investments have been made in order to support the preservation of the quality of goods and services on an ongoing basis, with the procurement of equipment and supplies in the field of Quality Control. In an effort to improve the quality of goods and services, the Company has obtained the ISO 9002 certificate from TUV Product Service GmbH in 1995 and ISO 9001 certificate in 2000 which was then refurbished with ISO 9001: 2008, in April 2010.

PT Jembo Cable Company Tbk. got the ISO 14001: 2004 in December 2007, and Certificate OHSAS 18001: 2007 by the end of December 2009.
